Shahnye Saidy is a Consultant and Account Manager at Health Cheque, where she has spent the past nine years supporting both private and commercial clients with their ongoing health insurance needs. As a proud second-generation member of the family business, Shahnye upholds a legacy built on trust, compassion and a strong commitment to the wellbeing of others. In her role, she works closely with individuals and companies to arrange new policies, review existing cover and guide clients towards the most competitive and suitable private medical insurance solutions. Known for her clear, calm and approachable style, Shahnye ensures that every client feels heard, supported and well looked after. With a strong understanding of how overwhelming ill health can be, she provides hands-on support from policy setup to claims handling, offering reassurance at every step.
Being part of a family business in private health insurance has shaped how I work and what I value. I’ve always believed in treating clients like family — making sure they feel listened to, understood and supported no matter what stage of their insurance journey they’re at.
My role covers everything from setting up new cover to reviewing long-standing policies and helping clients manage claims. I take pride in making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, especially when health concerns make things more complicated.
Outside of Work
I love spending time with family and friends, and I’m always up for a new food experience — I’m a dedicated foodie at heart. I also enjoy keeping active, especially through Pilates, which keeps me challenged and grounded.
